Garden update Sneak peek! :)

Just a little tease, still a lot to do, still a few decisions to make but generally I have an idea where it is going. Mostly inspired by my mothers garden and the Greek plants you see blooming and smiling at you! In the image above you see a corner and a few plants to add colour, these are sunflowers, Imperial fritillaria, unfinished poppies and two lovely trees from Margaret from a swap we did.

And a little embroidery that started in 2002.
This year I only added the background and framed it.

Miniature samplers

Geocities is closing so I am slowly tranfering my files to this blog. Here are some of my miniature samplers I have stitched in the past. They are 1/12th scale, one over one and usually 32 count or more.

Dollhouse Carpet

Its extremely hot in Greece but trying to cope with the heat, I am a rain kind of person, I certainly chose the wrong country to live in :)
I am working on a miniature carpet and it seems it will take a very long time to finish it, plus I might go blind doing it, its 48 count! I had to choose this count as it was the only way to make it small enough to fit the room in the doll house.
